Joanna Bull has enjoyed contributing to the educational field for 15 years. She was a Visual Arts and English classroom teacher for 11 years prior to her current role as a Digital Literacy Consultant at the York Region District School Board Joanna is an advocate for student-centered approaches to the classroom; she believes merging the concepts of decentering the classroom, creating psychological safety, and innovative approaches to learning are essential in creating the conditions for successful teaching and learning. Joanna shares her passion for learning by fusing coaching and innovation as the host of Outside the Bubble Podcast, providing mentorship at I-Think, and in her private coaching practice at Freshly Brewed Happiness. Aside from teaching, learning, and coaching; Joanna is an avid scuba diver and shark lover. She’s an adventure traveler and can be found hiking the various ravines in and around the Toronto area on the weekends.
