Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully as they are the legal terms and conditions that you agree to when you use any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site. (collectively, the “Service”). By using our Service you agree to be bound by these Terms which contain provisions applicable to all users of our Service, including occasional users.

Amendment of the Terms

The District School Board of Niagara reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time without any notice to you.

Pricing

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Limitation of Liability

The District School Board of Niagara shall not be liable to you and/or any third party for any damages of any kind arising out of or relating to the use of, or reliance upon, any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site including, but not limited to, any lost profits, lost opportunities, special, incidental, indirect, consequential or punitive damages, regardless of your notice to the District School Board of Niagara to the contrary.

Any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site may link users to sites not maintained by the District School Board of Niagara. Any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site cannot and does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any information available through these links and disclaims any opinions expressed on such sites.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Attendee
Cancellations will be allowed until March 31, 2020, subject to a $50 service fee. After the cancellations deadline, no refunds will be granted. If you are unable to attend you may substitute another individual in your place at no extra charge. Email your confirmation number along with the new attendee name and email address to [email protected]

International: Do not register if you have not received your VISA to travel to Canada. CONNECT is unable to assist with the VISA process. Refunds will not be granted because you did not receive your VISA.

Vendors

Cancellations will be allowed until March 1, 2020, subject to a $200 service fee. After the cancellations deadline, no refunds will be granted.

Registration Modifications

Registered attendees that request a modification to their registration that results in a refund, the modification is subject to a $25 service fee. This includes but is not limited to applying a Group Code to an existing registration.

Intellectual Property

The materials located on any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms or proprietary rights and are owned or controlled by the District School Board of Niagara or any other party credited as the provider of the information.

System Integrity

You may not use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site. You may not take any action, which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the District School Board of Niagara infrastructure.

General Information

The TOS constitute the entire agreement between you and any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use affiliate services, third-party content or third-party software. The TOS and the relationship between you and any District School Board of Niagara E-Commerce site shall be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and Canada without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Prohibited

As a user of the Site, you agree that you will not – transmit, through uploading, posting, e-mailing, or other methods,: content that is harmful, unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, obscene, libelous, or racially or ethnically objectionable; content that infringes trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property of any party; unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “spam”, “junk mail”, or any other forms of solicitation; material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to limit or destroy the functionality of the Site. Interfere with the Site, the services, the content, or the servers and networks connected to the Site; or disobey any requirements, policies, or regulations of those networks connected to the Site. solicit passwords or personal information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users, engage in sale, such as contests, advertising, and pyramid schemes, without our prior written consent. intentionally or unintentionally violate any municipal, provincial, national, or international law.

Solicitation or distribution of literature, samples, etc. by firms that are NOT participating in the exhibit is prohibited. Violation of this “suitcasing” policy will subject the offender to immediate dismissal from the conference. Evidence of violation of this rule should be reported immediately to a CONNECT representative.
